Turn Tables & Traverses 
    Mechan turntables are available for wheelsets, bogies and complete rail vehicles. Wheelset and Bogie Turntables are a standard product. They can be rotated manually, or by electrical power and if needed, fitted with automatic controls to allow them to interface with other depot equipment. Turntables are ideal for transfering bogies or wheelsets from road to road within the depot. This method of transfer between roads is useful when carrying out bogie removal using Railcar Jacks or Tram Jacks. Traversers are usually supplied for complete vehicles only and are configured to suit the particular application. Options include: Automatic operation between track locations. Radio / infra red controls to allow flexible operator location. Capstan winch or battery shunter to load / unload vehicles. Full width walkways on one or both sides of the vehicle. Hydraulic ramps for operation on slope sided pits (allows road vehicle access across the pit). Weather cover to protect the vehicle during transport.
