RFID 
    Radio Frequency Identification or RFID is a wireless technology used for automatic identification of ID-tags attached to an object. The applications of RFID technology are widespread as is the technology itself. There are several frequency bands allocated to RFID operations ranging from low frequency systems (short range) to high frequency systems (long range). Mokarrar Trade and Engineering Service CO, (MTES) supply a full range of High Performance RFID products operating in the license-free 2.45 GHz band. TagMaster Readers provide high performance identification of ID-tags at ranges up to 10 meters (33 feet). The Readers can operate stand-alone or as units controlled by a host. Benefits using TagMaster 2.45 GHz RFID system with Semi-passive ID-tags - The TagMaster RFID Readers and ID-tags are very small and easy to install. - The Readers include the antenna, microprocessor and memory, all in one compact casing. - TagMaster's Readers have a low output power but still a long read-range. - The TagMaster reading lobe is well defined and less sensitive to electro magnetic interference. - The TagMaster Reader has a circular polarized antenna, which gives an improved reading capacity. - The reading zone is well defined and directive, there is no back or side lobe for mis-reads. - TagMaster Readers have a "Frequency Hopping" feature (FHSS) that helps to prevent interference with other systems. The FHSS feature improves the reading-range available for a particular ID-tag in a certain environment. - The battery life of the TagMaster ID-tag is fully predictable and independent of the number of times the ID-tag has been identified. - TagMaster ID-tags can be mounted directly on to metal surfaces. - TagMaster provides a Heavy Duty series of products that is extremely resistant to vibration, shock and hi/low temperature. - Correct reading of ID-tags is safeguarded by the use of a 32-bit error correction code. Development & Integration - TagMaster's latest generation of Readers (GEN4) are built around a standard Linux operating system and has an open development platform. This enables integrators to quickly develop and implement new applications for the GEN4 Readers. TagMaster provides a Software Development Kit that contains all the necessary tools required by system developers. The GEN4 Readers can be configured and controlled via the Ethernet interface, either locally or remotely via an Internet connection. The GEN4 Readers support several standard interfaces including Ethernet (TCP/IP), RS232, RS485 and Wiegand/Magstripe.
